She was found right here on the shelter property, quietly watching the world go by from a safe distance. Since then, she’s been showing us just how much love she has to give once she feels comfortable and secure.

At first, Merida can be a little shy – she likes to take her time getting to know new people and new spaces. But once she realizes you’re a friend, she blossoms into the sweetest, most affectionate companion. She’ll greet you with gentle head bumps, purrs that could melt any heart, and an appreciation for cozy naps beside her favorite humans.

Merida would do best in a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. In return, she promises to fill your days with quiet affection, soft purrs, and the kind of companionship that only a cat with her gentle spirit can give.
