Meet Gloria!

Gloria was adopted from our centre in 2025 and was recently returned when the adopters developed a serious allergy to her. Transitioning back into shelter life was very stressful for Gloria, and it took her a few days to really come out of her shell.

Gloria’s hobbies include sunbathing, and bird-watching. She can’t resist a toy with feathers or bells! This social butterfly adores affection and never turns down a good chin scratch or cuddle. She is very affectionate but can be very uncomfortable with being lifted. She will happily approach and walk into your lap for pets, but caution is advised when overhandling her. Due to this nature, she would be best in an adult only home.

Gloria is very overweight and will need to continue on her weight loss journey in order to help her live and feel her best. She is currently on a special, low fat food and requires an adopter who can help her slim down to her healthiest weight.

Gloria can be a vocal girl and would love to find a furever home that will happily dance to her song. If you would like to meet Gloria, please stop by the BCSPCA West Vancouver between 12-4pm Tuesday-Sunday. Please note, In-person applications are prioritized.
