Meet Pepper, a sweet, slightly sassy, and loving senior lady who came to the SPCA when her previous guardian could sadly no longer keep her and the other cat in her home. Pepper is used to a quiet, adult home so would likely be happiest in a calm environment without children. She loves attention and pets, but may not like it if someone tries to push her past her comfort zone. She needs a little time to settle into a new environment and learn to trust her new people. Once she does she will be a loving companion. She has lived with another cat previously but would actually likely be happiest as the only pet in the home. She wants to be the queen supreme and absolutely spoiled. In return she has so much love to give.
Pepper is overweight so adopters should be prepared to help keep her happy and healthy with a proper diet and exercise. Because Pepper is a bit overweight, she has a harder time grooming herself fully and will need a guardian who will help brush her regularly which she would enjoy. Please come into the shelter during visiting hours if you would like to meet me. You can also submit an application online if I am in foster or you would like to save some time when you come visit. While we do welcome online applications, in person meets have top priority.
