Meet Cosmo:

Cosmo came into to our care as a stray so we don’t know much about his history. He is an absolute sweetie once she is comfortable, just wanting to be by your side. Since he has taken some time to come out of his shell, we think that he may have not experienced a lot of things that a typical dog would as new things (like hats) can be quite scary for him. However, Cosmo is already showing us how brave he is, approaching us with a wagging tail eager for love despite his fear.

Despite his unknown history, Cosmo does seem to have learned some basic tricks and commands from his previous life. He knows how to sit, lay down, shake a paw, walks well on leash and seems to be house trained!

Cosmo would do best in a quiet home with humans who are comfortable reading dog body language, helping them being able to tell when he’s uncomfortable and needs some space to feel safe. He will need time and patience to help build his confidence at his own pace, but it will all be worth is to experience the joy of watching him feel safe in his new home.

📍 The Centre is open Tuesday-Saturday, Noon to 4 PM (except for Stat Holidays).
