Hamilton is a handsome gentleman ready to sing for his supper, and get his fur-ever families attention. He’s a outgiong, friendly guy who loves pets and attention, though can be a little nervous at first in a new environment. He seems fairly laidback and appreciates a good, long catnap. We don’t know if he’s ever lived with other animals or children before but may be fine in a home with other animals and older cat-savvy kids, with proper, slow introductions. He loves scratching posts to climb on and keep him entertained. Hamilton is quite the talker and showman, and would look forward to having long, meaningful conversations and cuddles with you. Hamilton will make a great addition to a home and a wonderful, loving companion. He was previously an outdoor cat who had it a bit rough, and now needs to be an indoor only cat as he is FIV+ likely due to cat fights. Could you be the special someone to keep him safe and spoiled?

*HAMILTON IS CURRENTLY AWAITING A DENTAL SURGERY TO REMOVE A BROKEN CANINE. He is not able to officially be adopted just yet, but local adopters may have the option to foster to adopt while he undergoes care. Adopters should also research what it means to have an FIV+ cat and be prepared to keep up with regular vet checks to make sure he stays happy and healthy.
