Meet Declan!

Declan may have three legs, but he’s all heart. This sweet and sensitive boy is a little on the shy side and can feel overwhelmed in larger spaces-he may choose to tuck himself away at first. But with a calm environment and a patient person by his side, Declan slowly reveals his affectionate side and truly loves gentle pets.

Declan would thrive in a quiet home with people who understand that some cats need time to feel safe. Once he’s comfortable, he becomes a loyal and loving companion who just wants to be near his trusted humans.

Do you think you could be Declan’s person? Here’s how to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or

2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
