Meet Oscar!

Don’t let the name fool you – Oscar is definitely not a grouch! This 3-year-old tuxedo is one of the most affectionate and vocal cats you’ll ever meet. Whether he’s greeting you at the door with a cheerful meow or cozying-up next to you and demanding affection, Oscar loves to be where the people are.

Oscar came from a home with too many cats and his owner could no longer look after them. Multiple animals in this group have tested positive for Mycoplasma and chlamydia. Mycoplasma is an upper respiratory infection that is contagious to other cats. We encourage interested applicants to do a bit of research (see links below) Oscar is not showing any symptoms at the moment, but this infection can be triggered through stress. We are looking for a calm, low stress home for this lovely boy.

You will quickly notice that this guy is a true conversationalist. He’ll chat with you about your day, remind you when it’s mealtime, and offer his expert opinion on just about everything. He thrives on attention and enjoys being the centre of attention.
