Meet Cola!

Cola is a 5-year-old Blue Heeler Cattle Dog and is just as sweet as her name! This lovely girl is very gentle and is happiest spending time with her people and soaking up all their affection. Cola likes to zoomie around the yard, but will often prefer to stay by your side over playing with her toys. Although, the longer she has been with us the more her playful personality has started to blossom! She is quickly proving to be an absolute gem – gentle, loving, and truly the best girl!

We don’t know too much about her past, but so far in our care she has calmly walked past other dogs without showing much reaction and has even met other dogs out on walks who she interacted with very politely. With proper introductions she could likely be very successful making doggy friends with other pups that can match her calm energy.

*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!

Do you think you could be Cola’s person? Here are some ways to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or

2.)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
