Meet Winnie! 🍯
Winnie has found herself back at the shelter through no fault of her own and is ready to start the next chapter of her life. This sweet, silly girl is sure to steal your heart (and all the coziest spots in your home!)
Winnie loves going for walks, playing with her toys, and meeting new people. She thrives on companionship and enjoys being involved in whatever her people are doing. Winnie would do best as the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself.
As a stronger, high-energy breed, we are looking for an active family that can provide plenty of daily exercise, enrichment, and mental stimulation to help her thrive. She will need a stronger guardian- she may appear little but she’s full of muscle! Winnie is also on a chicken-free diet, so her future family should be prepared to continue managing her dietary needs!
Do you think you could be Winnie’s person? Here are some ways to find out:
1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or
2.)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!
