Meet Chiante-
Rescued with 82 others in a time of crisis, this kitty has been through so much in just a few weeks-and is now ready for the peace and comfort of a forever home. Chiante is a one-year-old long-haired black Persian mix with a stunning, soft coat and a quiet, cautious personality.

She’s very shy and looking for a calm, quiet home with a patient adopter who can offer her the gentle care and space she needs to feel secure. Like many long-haired cats, Chiante will require regular grooming to keep her beautiful coat healthy and mat-free. With time, trust, and a caring touch, she has the potential to become a sweet and graceful companion.

She is booked for her spay surgery on Tuesday, May 20th in Port Coquitlam so her new family will be picking her up as a “foster to adopt” and taking care of her until then. In the meantime she will need to return to the TriCities shelter for regular check ups.

2. Speak with one of our adoption counsellors to determine if it’s a good match
3. We’ll review instructions then you’ll be able to take your new feline friend home!
