Meet Bud (and Peaches!) 💛

Bud is a gentle, shy soul who’s still finding his footing in this big, new world. He spends most of his time tucked into the comfort of his perch & go box, quietly observing from a safe spot. But don’t let his reserved nature fool you – underneath that cautious exterior is a sweet boy just waiting to blossom.

Bud is bonded with his outgoing sister, Peaches, and they’re looking for a home together. With Peaches by his side, Bud gains the confidence to come out and play – and he really does enjoy playing with her! With time, patience, and a calm environment, Bud is sure to turn into a big loaf of love. Bud is currently on a weight loss plan and is being fed a metabolic diet to support his health. his future family will need to help him stay on track so she she feel her best!

If you have room in your heart for a dynamic duo, Bud and Peaches could be the perfect match! Here’s how to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or

2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
