Meet Kitty! A beautiful, soft girl with the cutest little meow. For the first week that she was in her foster home, she mostly hid, likely nervous about her new surroundings and the unfamiliar pup. But now, they’ve formed a playful bond; she even gives a gentle swat when the dog walks by. She’s quite affectionate, enjoying being held and pet (on her own terms, of course), and she was surprisingly friendly when they had guests over.

She absolutely loves being outside and will hang out by the door, scratching to be let out. To keep her safe they have started harness and leash training, and she’s slowly getting the hang of it. While she’s not very into toys, she has a bit of a feisty streak sometimes giving playful nibbles during petting sessions. You’ll often find her lounging in a sunny spot, soaking it all in. She’s got a lovely mix of independence and affection, making her a charming and quirky companion.

Kitty has a history of bladder stones and urinary issues, due to these complications, she will need to be on a special urinary diet to maintain her health.

Please come into the shelter during visiting hours if you would like to meet me. You can also submit an application online if I am in foster or you would like to save some time when you come visit. While we do welcome online applications, in person meets have top priority.
