Meet Badger the beautiful solo fancy rat with a heart as warm as his velvety coat. Badger is a gentle, curious soul looking for a loving forever home where he can thrive with the companionship and enrichment all rats deserve. He is currently living solo, but he’s showing signs that he’s eager for connection.

He loves burrowing into fleece hammocks, making dens, climbing around his enclosure, and nibbling on healthy treats like peas. He is still learning that hands are friends, so a patient and gentle adopter will help him build trust at his own pace. He loves to take a treat and very good at making hidden food stashes

Badger needs a spacious home like a Critter Nation cage, with multiple levels, hiding spots, foraging opportunities, and toys to keep his intelligent little mind engaged.

While he is not a lap rat just yet, Badger is growing in confidence every day. Regular, calm interactions will help him blossom into a sociable, snuggly companion.
