Meet Mango, a sweet and social Lovebird looking for a forever home!

Mango was surrendered to us when his previous family did not have the time to keep up with his social needs. The family describes Mango as a friendly bird who likes to perch on your hand or the top of his cage. Like all Lovebirds, Mango loves to chirp and will fill your home with chatter.

We believe Mango would do best in a home with other Lovebirds, but an experienced owner who is able to spend a lot of time with him could also be a good match.

Do you think you could be Mango’s person? Here are some ways to find out:

1. Visit our centre to meet this pet during viewing hours at 3202 Norland Ave, learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or

2. Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions, an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs

Our viewing/adoption hours are:
1pm-5pm Monday – Wednesday, Friday
1pm-4pm Weekends
Thursday closed to the public.
