Snickerdoodlefruit is a lovely dog who originally came into BC SPCA care as a stray. She has been under the care of the BC SPCA for some time now, and now that she is on the mend, she’s ready to find her forever home!

Snickerdoodlefruit is an energetic girl who will require a family dedicated to continuing her training with patience and consistency. She still needs some work on her basic manners, like polite greetings (she’s very excited to say hello and may jump up) and potty training once in a home environment. Snickerdoodlefruit is a friendly girl who loves making new friends! Snickerdoodlefruit can pull a bit on leash when excited but after a minute, she walks very nicely right beside us!

More than anything, Snickerdoodlefruit wants to be right in your lap – she is such a snuggle bug. She will happily sink into you and fall asleep anytime you sit with her. Although she settles well on her own, she absolutely adores being with her people and can get very excited to see you. Thankfully, she settles down pretty quickly once she gets her greetings out of the way.

Snickerdoodlefruit has been dog-selective but has successfully lived with another dog before; she would need slow and thoughtful introductions to any future canine companions. She has not been introduced to cats or small animals during her time at the shelter. We think Snickerdoodlefruit could do well in a home with older children or dog-savvy kids, as her exuberant personality might be overwhelming for very young children.

Snickerdoodlefruit would thrive in a home that can provide her with a consistent routine, positive reinforcement, and lots of love!
