Meet Obi Bun Kenobi
Meet Obi Bun Kenobi – a distinguished gentleman in a fine fur coat, ready to steal your heart (and your lettuce!). While he may be a bit shy at first when meeting new people or adjusting to unfamiliar surroundings, once Obi feels safe and secure, his curious and laidback personality shines through-and it’s absolutely worth the wait.
Obi is really starting to come into his own after being found as a stray outside. He’s fully litterbox trained, eats out of your hand or takes treats with gentleness, and is highly food motivated-especially when fresh veggies are involved. Parsley and kale are definite favorites but he’s not too picky. When Obi first arrived at the shelter it is believed his previous diet didn’t fulfill his needs and his teeth were a bit overgrown because of it. To support his ongoing health and happiness, it’s important to have a diet primarily consisting of hay and a bit of pellets, which is essential for keeping his teeth in good shape and helping him thrive. Fruits and veggies need to be kept to a minimum and only used as occasional treats.
One of his happiest discoveries? The window seat. It’s his go-to lounging spot for soaking up sunbeams and watching the world go by-basically his personal spa retreat. He can be a bit nervous of pets at first but is really starting to enjoy them.
This sweet, tidy, and charming rabbit is looking for a calm, rabbit-savvy forever home where he can continue to build confidence, explore safely, and enjoy a steady supply of hay and affection.
