Meet Julie and Zaitona !

These two young female cats are an incredibly bonded pair who, sadly, find themselves in need of a new home after their previous owner moved out of the country. Though they are not related by blood, they have formed a deep connection and have always shared their lives together. Their personalities are sweet and playful, but they are understandably scared and anxious after the sudden change in their environment.

Both cats have only ever known life with a single owner and have never been around other pets or children which means they will need some time to adjust to a new home. They are seeking a quiet, indoor-only environment, ideally with no other pets and adults only. Once they feel safe and secure in their new surroundings, they will blossom and bring immense joy and affection to your home.

These two are very bonded-they sleep, play, and share a strong sense of comfort with each other. They will often seek each other out for companionship, but they also enjoy the company of their humans once trust is established. Their personalities are sweet and gentle, and they will fill your home with love and cuteness once they feel safe.

While they may be a little shy at first, with patience and care, these cats will become affectionate companions who will love you in return for giving them a second chance at happiness. If you’re looking for a pair of cats to welcome into your quiet, adult-only household, this bonded pair could be the perfect addition to your home.

1. Visit our centre to meet this pet during viewing hours at 3202 Norland Ave, learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or

2. Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions, an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs

1pm-5pm Monday – Wednesday, Friday
1pm-4pm Weekends
Thursday closed to the public.
